American property conference at AmCham

September 25, 2014 — On Tuesday, I spoke at an American property conference at AmCham in Hong Kong.

The event, which  featured Jennifer Anderson from KPMG and Sam Van Horebeek from East-West Property Advisors, drew a full house. You can listen to my presentation, Investing in U.S. Real Estate—Macroeconomic Considerations for Foreign Buyers, here.

The presentation was written for people living in Hong Kong who are thinking of investing in U.S. property. The video highlights how the United States differs from Hong Kong in a number of respects, including the types of property available, the legal environment and the information available to investors.

On October 16, I will be in Tokyo making a presentation to the Australian and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce about buying property across international borders.  Full details and registration here.

Details of more speaking events in Tokyo to follow shortly.
