The launch of Landed China

April 25, 2013 — Yesterday marked the launch of Landed China in Hong Kong. I spoke at a luncheon at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club that was graciously hosted by club governors Angie Lau and Anna Healy Fenton.

A video of the presentation is available here.

The presentation looks at restrictions that apply to non-Chinese people buying property. It explains land policy in China and the kinds of houses and apartments that are available for purchase. The video also includes information about the home-buying process, including taxes, fees and renovations.
